If you build it, they will come - in droves.
That's what certainly happened at Westchester County Airport, where nowadays passengers are finding anything but a Field of Dreams. The terminal that opened in 1995, just 12 years ago, is too small to comfortably serve the traveling public, which encounters crowded conditions in waiting rooms and baggage areas as well as other inconveniences. On most days, the parking garage built to accommodate 1,100 cars is woefully inadequate. As many as 300 people are often compelled to leave their cars in a makeshift area near the former National Guard hangar and travel by shuttle bus to the main terminal.....
